Reset is designed to help you track your fasting periods, monitor progress, and build healthy habits. We are committed to protecting your privacy — all fasting data is stored locally on your device, and we collect only minimal, anonymous usage data to improve the app.

1.1 Fasting & Health Data (On‑Device)

Reset may request access to the following to provide its core functionality:

Fasting sessions: Start/end times, duration, and notes you add (all stored locally).
Health metrics (optional): If you grant permission, we may read weight, steps, or other health indicators from Apple Health or Google Fit to enrich your fasting insights. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Notifications: We use local notifications to remind you of fasting start/end times; no personal data is transmitted.

Important: All fasting and health data remains exclusively on your device. We do not upload, store, or access your personal health information. You are always in control.

1.2 Minimal Usage & Analytics Data

To improve the app experience, we collect anonymous, non‑personal information:

Device model and operating system version
App version and interaction events (e.g., “fast started”, “fast completed”)
Crash reports and performance diagnostics (no fasting content)
Aggregated statistics on feature usage (e.g., number of fasts logged)

This data helps us fix bugs, improve performance, and understand how users interact with the app. It is never linked to your identity or fasting data.

1.3 No Personal Data Collected

Reset does not require an account, login, or profile. We do not collect:

Names, email addresses, or contact information

Photos, videos, or media

Zero‑knowledge design: We have no access to your fasting or health data. Everything stays on your device, under your control.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because we collect almost no personal data, our use is extremely limited:

On‑device fasting management: To help you track, log, and visualize your fasting sessions.
Health integrations (optional): To sync with Apple Health / Google Fit if you grant permission — data is only read locally and never transmitted.
Performance improvements: Using anonymous crash and usage data to fix issues and enhance stability.
No marketing or profiling: We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, or building user profiles.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We share information only in the following minimal and secure ways:

Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for crash reporting and analytics (e.g., Firebase, Apple’s Crashlytics). These services receive only anonymized, non‑health data.
Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose data, but this never includes your fasting or health content.
Business Transfers: In case of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred, but we will notify you and ensure continued protection.
No health data sharing: Your fasting records and health metrics are never shared, sold, or transmitted to anyone under any circumstances.

Reset uses on‑device intelligence and optional health integrations to enhance your fasting experience:

All fasting data (timers, logs, history) is stored and processed entirely on your device.
If you connect to Apple Health or Google Fit, data is read only locally and never leaves your device.
No data is used to train AI models or for any purpose beyond your personal tracking.
You can review, edit, or delete any fasting record at any time.

Privacy‑first: Your fasting journey is personal. Our on‑device approach ensures that you remain the sole owner of your health data.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data and experience:

Health data access: You can grant or revoke HealthKit/Google Fit permissions at any time via device settings.
Fasting records: You can add, edit, or delete any fasting entry directly in the app.
Analytics Opt‑Out: You can disable analytics tracking in the app’s settings menu.
Data Deletion: Since we store no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our side. All your data remains on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
No Account: No account means no personal data to manage.

6. International Data Transfers

Keekly Tech Inc. is based in Canada. Since we do not collect or store your fasting/health data, there is no transfer of your personal information. The only data that may be transferred (anonymized analytics) is sent to services (e.g., Firebase) that comply with GDPR and international privacy frameworks.

We ensure that any transferred data is pseudonymized and cannot be used to identify you.

7. Children's Privacy

Reset is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we collect no personal data, this is not a concern, but we encourage parents to monitor their children's app usage.
